Principal's Message

Welcome Wildcats!

Welcome to Twentynine Palms High School!  We have a lot to look forward to here as we continue to thrive as a school community. Throughout the past few years, I have been so proud of the grit and perseverance our Wildcat community has demonstrated in overcoming the obstacles and challenges presented to us.  Our students, families, faculty, and staff have done an amazing job of focusing on our mission, and we will continue to grow and thrive together.

There is so much to be excited about in ’23-’24!  We have new Career Tech programs in Construction Trades and Culinary Arts available to our students.  We are expanding our Dual Enrollment programs to help our Wildcats earn more college credits here on campus while earning their high school diplomas.  We've added an E-sports team for our Wildcat gamers. Our stadium is newly constructed and ready for all manner of events!

The Mission of Twentynine Palms High School is to build nurturing relationships that inspire our students to establish and work for their dreams, wherever they may lead, while honoring their roots and foundation built at Twentynine Palms High School.   This is our guiding principle and is what we do here every day at TPHS.

We also have school-wide expectations for every member of our Wildcat community.  They are simple and straight forward, and can be applied to just about every aspect of what we do:

  • BE PROMPT- Be where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be there every day!

  • BE PREPARED- Learn through actively participating.  Do your work.   Have what you need to succeed!

  • BE POLITE- Be kind and empathetic towards others.   Use polite language.  Simply put, “Dude.  Be nice.”

I look forward to meeting and knowing all of our students and families, and my door is always open to the stakeholders of our fine school community.  Our school, its feeder schools, Joshua Tree National Park, the City of Twentynine Palms, and the MCAGCC have always had a special and beneficial relationship that has helped make our school a very special place, and we will continue furthering those relationships to help our students have a very special and unique high school experience.
